Welcome to the website of fiction writer & poet Victor Julian-Henry Roberts.
[Last updated May 18th, 2025]

Greetings, welcome, and thank you for finding my website. My name is Victor Julian-Henry Roberts.
I am a writer and poet from the cold wilderness of Maine. My work is a melting pot of the demonic, the veneration of nature, and the primal aspects of the human psyche. Each creation of mine seeks to visualize the dark forces in nature which drive both fear and pleasure in man.
My flash piece "At the Edge of the Manor" is my first published work.My goals are as of yet unfolding, and I have many more creations in the works. I have no doubt there will be many more updates to share in the near future. To share my creations with the world, and with you, dear reader, is a delight beyond delights.
Natura Regnat. Ave Satanas. 🜏"Gie me ae spark o' Nature's fire, that's a' the learning I desire."

You have noticed by now that there is a certain image which I display on my social media pages, as well as here on the home page of my personal website - the image of the trapezoid, the nonagram, the brimstone sigil, the twin lightning, and the twin pillars combined into a single emblem. This emblem was designed by me on April of 2025 to represent myself and my work. Each aspect of the emblem was designed with purpose and intention, which I will discuss below.

The Trapezoid
An overbearing symbol said to intensify fear and provoke anxiety according to the Law of the Trapezoid, whilst also serving as a catalyst for change.
"Like fire, [the Trapezoid's] powers are twofold, depending on how it is applied. Like the sun, its powers are twofold, depending on whether a thing is growing, grown, or dying. And like the first crystalline fusion of atoms, it will be the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega of all matter."
- Anton Szandor LaVey, "The Devil's Notebook"The Nonagram
A star comprised of 9 points.
The number 9 is a recurring motif in my work, either as multiples of 9, the square root of 9 (3), or simply the number on its own.
The 9th of April is also the exact day I started getting my work out into the public eye.The Brimstone Cross
The alchemical symbol for sulphur, an element long associated with the abyssal Underworld - a realm where subconscious fears and desires can be explored freely. The Twin Lightning Bolts
Lightning was chosen specifically as a symbol of the might of nature - the powerful, serpentine strike of electrostatic discharge accompanied by the ensuing roar of the sonic shock wave reverberating through the sky and earth.
The dualism of the two bolts represents the contrasts of life; pleasure and pain, human and beast, femininity and masculinity, love and fear, dominance and submission, wakefulness and slumber.
The important lesson that I wish to convey with this symbolism is that, despite society's need for oversimplification through black-or-white categorization, these "opposite" elements are not mutually exclusive, oftentimes existing in in-between states, or intermingling in a complimentary manner that causes a powerful emotional (sometimes physical) reaction.
When the two bolts of lightning strike the trapezoid containing the Brimstone Cross, it represents the coalescing of the dualistic energies into a single emblem of power, with the understanding that these natural contrasts, when allowed to work in tandem, manifest a potent work of magically-imbued art.The Twin Obelisks
Two towering obelisks point up into the ether as if to pierce the heavens.
Engraved on each obelisk is the Enochian word "ENAYO", meaning
"Lord of the Abyss".
